Morning Dance Session

I'm finally in Japan.

After everything that led here, a new chapter has officially begun. And one of its first mornings turned out surprisingly simple:

A bright studio. A morning dance session. And Yui Kanzaki of Hagane Sakura 鋼の桜 on the other side of the room.

We danced to an instrumental remix of "Mode Avion." The original song was about leaving one place behind and wondering what might be waiting somewhere else.

Now I'm actually here. In Japan.

And this time, Yui and I aren't only reconnecting as friends: we're part of the same agency now, two very different worlds under the same roof.

I bring the warmer pop I grew up with in Canada. Yui brings the sharper, more rebellious energy of Hagane Sakura 鋼の桜.

Maple leaf. Sakura.
